I have finished building my app and have generated out ZAVE files for both Retina and Standard Definition devices. I am using the standard AVE Reader template.
I am working through the publishing process and haven't found where you have the option to upload or submit the two different resolution versions. Is this done in Appfactory or is it done in iTunes Connect
Could someone please direct me to where I can do this?
I would like to know the reason of this message.
I'm trying to export a final .ipa for Distribution for submission to the App Store but I'm unable to Save the .ipa because the Certificate dropdown is blank (I can export for Release just fine).
When I try to continue, the ff. error appears:
The Profiles and Certificates were generated by the client themselves and were only sent to me.
Can someone please help me troubleshoot this? I need to submit the app this week and can't figure this out.
Hoping for your fast response, thank you!
I checked the URL Zave is correct. has the added zavem, but the exporting does not work.
It is a monoapp and I'm using version 3.5 of the ios AppFactory, I have also tried using an earlier version, 3.4.3 and if I give "unkown error".
You can help me, thanks
I received a rejection notice from Apple last night stating that our app (an Elegant Kiosk) could not be accepted due to non-apple subscription details and links to other app stores being accessible via the app as the website is opened in the app when the logo in the top bar is tapped.
Is there a way to disable this so that the website doesn't open?
It only needs to go on Mac platforms and their IT guys say they only need the .ipa file to send to x5 iPads.
I have made up an example in InDesign & used the viewer and all are happy.
Looking to publish it and was wondering if I should get a 'Single Issue App' option - but only need it to go on a single platform.
Or the Kiosk App - Mono Document (Apple only) as this is cheaper BUT I will need to make some updates along the way (but not new Issues)
ALL of the options will be free.
Which option do you think I should choose?
I have just recreated my 2012 iPad app - redesigning it from Quark to now use Indesign, for a 2015 edition. It is a single edition app with AVE and AVE HD versions. I have successfully tested the app and it is now with Apple for approval. The ipa I submitted to Apple is 455MB. My HD zave is 420 MB. The standard zave is 250MB.
I'm a little confused on a couple of things.
1. As part of the Aquafadas process I uploaded the HD and standard zaves to a dropbox and filled in the links in Cloud Connect. When I create the ipa in App Factory iOS, though, I only need to upload one ZAVE. Is that correct?
2. So, related to the point above, although I am only making a one-off app and not using a kiosk for a periodical magazine, do I have to keep both zaves on my dropbox for users to download? When I launched the app originally using Aquafadas and QXP, I thought that all data was held and distributed by Apple?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone might be able to give me.
I try to upload my app to ITunes connect, but application loader snd me those problems, what can i do.
Thanks for your help
